Middle School Counsellor
Ms. Almyra joined as the Middle School Counselor in 2023. Hailing from South Africa, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Communications. Additionally, she brings over 9 years of experience supporting students' social, emotional, and mental development.
As a proud member of the GEMS family for the past 5 years, she has championed a holistic approach to wellbeing and safeguarding. Recognizing the prevalent challenge of stress management, she incorporates dedicated sessions focusing on practical stress-relief techniques, empowering students to navigate academic and personal demands. She is passionate about empowering parents and guiding them to build positive relationships with their children.
Almyra is proud to be part of a school environment where emotional wellbeing is actively nurtured, building meaningful connections, and promoting growth and resilience among students, and is looking forward to her second year at GAA.
