Languages

Students are encouraged to choose one world language (French or Spanish) in grade 6 and continue with that language throughout their secondary education in order to reach their best potential when they enter the IB Diploma program in grades 11-12. Students new to GAA will be placed in the class of the world language they have studied in their previous school.

Secondary aims of the World Languages program (including French, Spanish, and Non-Native Arabic) are to develop global awareness, international understanding and an appreciation of cultural diversity.
