Dan Gilfort
High School Principal (Grades 9-12)
Dan Gilfort brings nearly three decades of experience in educational leadership, spanning both international and US public school systems, most recently serving as Principal at Al Reef Charter School in the UAE and previously holding a long-term tenure as Principal of Northern High School in Durham, North Carolina.
He earned his Education Specialist degree in Education Leadership and Supervision and holds advanced master's degrees in both School Administration and Counseling Psychology. His administrative career focuses heavily on school improvement, staff development, facility management, and fostering robust school communities.
He has extensive experience with instructional leadership, curriculum execution, and international school operations, consistently driving student achievement and operational excellence across diverse educational landscapes.
He is excited to join the GAA community as the new High School Principal and looks forward to partnering with staff, students, and families for an exceptional upcoming school year.
