GEMS recognizes that experienced and qualified staff add value to build a long-term relationship with an organization and supports them in enhancing and developing their careers. As a result, our priorities include staff induction and orientation, training, research and continuing professional development.
Mentoring programs ensure that GEMS core values are integrated throughout the curriculum. Additionally, all front of house staff participate in service and hospitality training to ensure that communication with parents is of the highest standard.
Our teaching staff is also supported by a team of Teaching Assistants who help differentiate learning for groups of students. The requirements to be a Teaching Assistant is excellent or native English language skills plus a passion and experience working with elementary-aged students.
