The elementary curriculum is based on McRel's compendium of US state standards which are available at www.mcrel.org/standards-benchmarks/. McREL's standards are listed in grade level bands (K-2, 3-5, etc) that GAA has then assigned to individual grades to develop standards and benchmarks for each level. The course standards are included here for you to browse allowing families to track their child's development.
Our teachers use curriculum mapping software program called Atlas Rubicon to collaboratively develop units of study that are engaging and challenging for students and vertically align with the grade level above and below.
