The Home and School Partnership
Partnership in Learning
Our American curriculum program of studies and extra-curricular activities are truly successful only with the parents in partnership. Parents, students and teachers establish and share a vision to create a plan for accomplishing goals that help students grow and develop their talents and abilities through the “Hopes and Dreams” conference each year.
Constant communication between parents and teachers through doorway hellos, weekly newsletters, student passports and when necessary, pre-arranged meetings, keep the best interests of students at the center of our decision making process. Open communication helps parents stay aware of what is going on in the classroom, how they can support classroom learning and ways to be involved in the school.
Our Parent Association, GAPA, supports the school's culture and climate by planning special events and working as a liaison between the school and families. Click their link to the left for more information!
